Border Collies.
Here are some pictures of our young dogs that we are raising
for our breeding program.
Heidi
Offspring of Jess and Roy
Heidi is a beautiful red and white border collie
out of Jess and Roy. She has been such an easy dog to raise.
She is a low demand, amiable dog who loves playing with children
and finding all sorts of ways to entertain herself. Her adult
coat is coming in a rich red with lots of curls and she has
the sturdy bone structure we like so much. We look forward to
seeing how Heidi progresses and hope she will make the grade
to enter our breeding program.
Andy
Imported from Detania Border Collies in England
Andy is
our latest import from England. He is a gorgeous red and white,
ISDS registered border collie who has amazed us with how smart,
well-behaved and teachable he is. He has a wonderful, easy going
attitude, has integrated fantastically with all our dogs, and
is a lot of fun to work with. This dog is truly happy! Nothing
spoils his day. He is just a youngster, but we look forward
to his contribution to our kennel once he is old enough and
passes all his health clearances.
Penny
Offspring of Nellie and Roy
Penny is a fantastic pup from Nellie and Roy.
She is delighting us with her gentle, biddable nature. She exhibits
a behaviour that is much more mature than her young age. Training
her has been a breeze. And she has inherited the classy style
and looks that we like so much in her grandmother Cindy. Penny
is also very outgoing and enjoys meeting visitors who are surprised
at her excellent manners and affectionate demeanour. We look
forward to how Penny will blossom as she grows up.
Marlo
Offspring of Shannon and Glen
Marlo is a gorgeous pup from Shannon and Glen.
Just one look at her and you know immediately who her dad is.
Marlo is a wonderful blend of energy and mellowness. She has
inherited her mom's low key disposition, and her dad's intelligence
and amiable good nature. We have enjoyed training her as she
enjoys learning and wants to please. She likes to play with
our children and is quite the snuggle bug.
Bluebell
Offspring of Katie and Glen
Bluebell is a lovely pup from Katie and Glen.
She is our first blue and white border collie. Katie and Glen
surprised us by both carrying the recessive dilute gene. Bluebell
is our rough and tumble girl who has endless energy to romp
and play. She is excellent in wearing out any of our young dogs
that have energy to spare. She is also very affectionate and
can't resist a good belly rub.
Skye
Offspring of Katie and Glen
Skye is a handsome pup from Katie and Glen.
She is Bluebell's sister. Skye is hopelessly happy like her
dad and enyoys the view from on top of her dog house, spending
much time up there. She continues to surprise us with her intelligence.
She is the head cocker, communicating through a variety of angles
of turning her head to the side when spoken to. Her amusing
antics keep us smiling.
